LOG*1 COAT: Our one-application-only, semi-transparent, deep-penetrating oil-based wood stain sealer is uniquely formulated for Logs to last up to 6+ years in sunlight and up to 8+ years in shade. An advanced Deck & Timber formulation, featuring a substantive alkyd resin blend, drying and non-drying oils, enhanced nano-colorants, and fungus inhibitors, avoids the film-forming patchy and peeling issues that lead to maintenance headaches with other products. SUNDANCE COATINGS WOOD STAIN SEALERs, both "LOG*1 COAT" and "DECK*1 COAT", consist of a unique combination of high-grade content commercial architectural coatings that include, amongst other things:
- Enhanced Trans Oxide pigmentation / UV Nano Blockers to protect against U.V. sun oxidation & damage
- Long Oil Alkyd Resins with Highly Refined Mineral & Paraffinic Oils to deeply penetrate, sealing out any moisture or water from inside out to prevent hydrolysis, causing checking (split-cracking) and wood rot.
- Fungus Inhibitor to protect against algae and mold build-up.
Our stain sealers are outstanding on both old and new wood! They replenish lost oils, bulk up and strengthen the wood lignin, and increase the wood's life span.
